Kathy Griffin isn't letting the fact she's in the running for the co-host job interfere with her act. In a recent stand-up routine she described Elizabeth as "living in 1952" and in several interviews has made mention of Oprah's "boyfriend" Gayle King (who of course is considered a front-runner to take on the moderator seat). It will be interesting to see if Kathy's no-holds-barred comedy alienates or entices the decision-makers at The View. If they have any head for business they should snap her up quick smart. Kathy is sure to be ratings gold.
How interested is Kathy in joining the show anyway? Here's what she had to say in a May 27th interview with Access Hollywood:
